Intensive Winter Program
2-5 WEEKS IN PERSON
The amount of time you spend in Meknes this winter is up to you! Beginning mid-December 2023 until mid-January 2024 AALIM will be offering weekly intensive sessions from 2 to 5 weeks in length.
You create the length of your program depending on what suits you.
HOST FAMILY STAYS
Included in the price of tuition is a stay with a family in Meknes, double occupancy, with two meals a day, breakfast and dinner.
AALIM recognizes that language learning is tied closely to cultural understanding and a host family stay only enhances your time while in Morocco.
ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING
AALIM prides itself on its rigorous Arabic curriculum. Even if your stay is only two weeks, we guarantee that you’ll see a difference in your Arabic language skills. Included in the cost of tuition is:
Placement exam
4 hours of MSA classes per day
3 hours of colloquial Arabic weekly (optional)
Teaching assistant outside of classroom hours
3 hours per week of language partner conversation
Cultural activities each week: lectures, music performances, calligraphy workshop, Arabic movies, cooking classes (specific activities vary annually and from program to program)
Official transcript and certificate of study.
PRICING
Our pricing includes a host family stay and academic programming. Not included: Airfare to and from Morocco; transportation within Morocco; textbooks; 3rd daily meal; personal expenses; medical expenses.
