Arabic Courses: study intensive Arabic at your level, with a concentration on your area of interest: literature, media, MSA, Moroccan dialect, politics, or business.

French Courses: study intensive French at your level, with a concentration on your area of interest and combine it with Arabic classes if you wish.

Content Courses: plunge into content courses in Arabic, a hybrid of Arabic and English, English only, or French. If your level permits, enroll in content courses at AALIM's partner, the University of Moulay Ismail in Meknes (UMI), study with Moroccan students!

  • Overview of Middle East and North African Countries (target language and English)

  • Management Theory and the Moroccan Reality (target language and English)

  • Arab Authors in Translation (English)

  • Women and Gender in North Africa and the Middle East (Arabic and English hybrid course)

  • Political science (Arabic)

  • History of the MENA (Arabic and English hybrid course)

  • Economics courses (Islamic banking, Moroccan economy, and others), science courses and other in target language at Moulay Ismail for qualified students; AALIM handles all enrollment formalities

Cost:
$9,850 per semester, payable one month prior to start date.
Dates mid-Sept. to mid-Dec., and mid-Jan. to mid-April

2019 dates: spring semester January 14 - April 12 for AALIM courses only, March to May if you also wish to enroll in  UMI courses (supplemental charge for January-May option); fall semester September 16- December 13, 2019

Please note the above dates are class dates; arrival should be scheduled one day earlier than the start date and departure one day later than the end date; host family accommodations begin the night before first class date and end the morning after the last class date.
